Piccola Italia is a multi award winning Italian Deli nestled in sunny Worthing!

Here at Piccola Italia we have made it our mission to bring you all your favourite Italian products. From Chante Clair cleaning products, which we would challenge against any high street brand, to coffee, cakes and all you need to feed a family, at unbeatable prices.

Come and try our custom made panino (sandwich). Make your own combo by chosing from any of our meats, cheeses and antipasto. All our deli products are sold by weight so have as much or as little as you like, and only pay for what you have.

When you walk into Piccola Italia you will get a true sense of what it's like to walk into a village store in Italy. From our extensive range of authentic Italian brands and essential everyday products to the warm, friendly welcome you can expect, we are more than just a Delicatessen. We are part of Worthing's community, its heritage and its future .......

Community

We are committed to supporting our local community. Some of our recent contributions include the West Sussex County Council Safe Place Scheme. A project designed to help people with learning disabilities across the county who feel they are being bullied, abused or harassed while they are out and about. We have supported the National Blind Childrens Society by raising money through charity raffles and In 2012 you voted us the UK's 5th Favourite Italian Deli after just 6 months of re-opening Piccola Italia, thank you. We are currently working on other schemes so watch this space.

A little bit of History

Piccola Italia has been at the heart of Worthing's community since the 1970s. Opened by the Palermo family who came from the small town of San Mango in Avellino, Italy, they brought with them the Italian passion for cooking with only the finest authentic and natural ingredients grown and nurtured by traditional Italian farmers.

In recent years, with thanks to some great Italian celebrity chefs, the food and culture has been welcomed and loved by all!

In December 2011, Piccola was taken over by us, Mike and Shaun. We both have a real passion for wholesome, hearty food.

Being Italian, cooking is in his blood and having a taste for good food, Mike has a small secret stash of recipes that are both excellent value for money and so tasty that will feed your whole family!

Italian food not only tastes great, but it’s so versatile that it makes for a great choice when entertaining guests of all ranges. Why not come and see what’s on offer in store and take a little walk into “Italy”!

Thank you to all our wonderful customers

Mike and Shaun
